On the July 07, 2018 night at 22h36min56s, a great meteor was sighted from many cities of Rio Grande do Norte and some in Ceará. Preliminary information indicates that it appeared and disappeared on the high seas, close to Mossoró coast.

Video published by Manoel Raziel (Parnamirim-RN), shows a bit of the light generated by the meteor.

Also there was record of the flash in camera of Marcos Jerônimo, affiliated to BRAMON and that owns equipment installed in Joao Pessoa, city at 400 Km of where meteor occurred. A small compilation of meteor videos, as well as the initial projection of trajectory, given by AMS, can be seen below:

BRAMON is already analyzing more images and information and as soon as we have more concrete data, we will publish an extract with the analyzes and results obtained.
